بررسی جذب فلزات مس، روی و کادیوم توسط منعقد کننده پلیمری پلی آلومینیوم کلراید بر پایه نظریه تابعی چگالی

چکیده

در فاضلاب ها و آبهای شهری انواع مختلفی از مواد فلزی معلق وجود دارد که جهت حذف آنها در تصفیه خانه های آب باید از مواد منعقد کننده پلیمری با هزینه بالا استفاده گردد. یکی از جدیدترین مواد منعقد کننده، پلی آلومینیوم کلراید PAC می باشد. با توجه به هزینه زیاد و زمان آماده سازی طولانی PAC ، استفاده از روش های شبیه سازی بجای آزمایشات تجربی مقرون به صرفه تر می باشد. در این مقاله فرایند جذب فلزات مس، روی و کادمیوم بر روی منعقد کننده PAC با استفاده از نظریه تابعی چگالی DFT توسط کد محاسباتی Quantum Espresso مطالعه شده است. محاسبات بر پایه روش امواج تخت بهمراه شبه پتانسیل با استفاده از تقریب شیب تعمیم یافته (GGA) انجام گرفته است. همچنین شبه پتانسیل مورد استفاده به روش فوق نرم تولید شده است. . آنالیز ساختار نواری و چگالی حالات الکترونی نشان داد که که ترکیب PAC نیمه رسانا با شکاف انرژی5.4 eV می باشد. همچنین نتایج حاصله از محاسبات جذب نشان داد که فلزات مس، روی و کادمیوم به ترتیب با انرژی جذب -4.56، -8.79 و -13.25 الکترون ولت جذب منعقد کننده PAC می شوند. با توجه به این نتایج، افزایش رسانایی ترکیب PAC که در نتیجه کاهش شکاف انرژی طی فرایند جذب ایجاد می شود، می تواند به عنوان عاملی برای شناسایی مواد فلزی معلق درون آب باشد.
